On the 29th May 2018 the MicroWatTS team met at the Hotel Excelsior, Malta for the first steering committee meeting. This meeting provided a platform where the project aims and activities were discussed.
During the meeting, the partners discussed the main activities to be carried out during the project and the specific timeframes attached to these activities. The responsibilities of each partner with respect to the activities were clarified. The development of the photocatalytic surfaces and the testing methodologies applied in order assess their activity were discussed at length. The meeting was concluded with a visit to the Metallurgy and Materials Engineering laboratory, where the technical capabilities and expertise of the department were highlighted.
