The project partners took part in technology transfer sessions between the 18th and 21st September 2018 at CNR. These sessions were conducted to familiarise the partners with synthesis and testing of photocatalytic surfaces as used by CNR.
Dr Alessandro Di Mauro and Dr Maria Cantarella from CNR conducted training sessions on atomic layer deposition (ALD) used for the synthesis of photocatalytic materials, Training was also offered on the method used for testing the photocatalytic activity. These hands-on sessions provided the attendees with the possibility of producing samples of photocatalytic materials and to assess their activity. The testing aspect was particularly important as these tests will be used extensively throughout the whole duration of the project.
